  • Check-in: Attendees sign in and receive name tags, programs, and lunch tickets.

  • Table: Staff and volunteers available to assist with accessibility needs and directions.

9:00 - 9:45 AM | Morning Prayer & Thanksgiving Service

9:45 –10:30 AM | Keynote Presentation: “Honoring Our Sacred Gifts”

  • Overview: A reflection on reciprocity, gratitude, and stewardship of the Earth through the lens of Indigenous wisdom and ecological science.

10:30 - 10:50 AM | Conversation & Q&A with Robin Wall Kimmerer

    • Attendees are invited to submit written questions at registration or via ushers during the session.

  • Attendees can also visit tables hosted by Creation Care Partners

  • Bag lunch - can be taken with you to your afternoon breakout activity

Note:  Registration required for afternoon activities, some of limited capacity.

  • Small Group Discussions - facilitated conversations on how to integrate ecological and spiritual care into daily life.

    • Themes from the Serviceberry such as how to promote a regenerative culture and/or economy.

    • Empowering local creation care work.                                         

    • Ways to increase alliances with local indigenous peoples.                                  

    • Addressing food justice Issues.

  • Sacred Walk in Nature at Onondaga Lake -.  This meditative walk is an invitation to allow you to increase your awareness of our connection with all elements of nature with respect and gratitude. (suitable for teens and adults)

  • Visit Skä•noñh Great Law of Peace Center - Guided tour of Skä•noñh Great Law of Peace Center

    • The Peace Center is a Haudensaunee (Iroquois) Cultural Center focused on telling the story of the native peoples of central New York. Please note that there is a $7 fee for each person who wishes to participate in this event that will be collected at the time of the tour.

  • Community Garden Work - Preparing the community garden at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Liverpool.

  • Forest Therapy Walk at Onondaga Lake Park - Experience deep reciprocity and sense of belonging. This will be a 90 minute quiet slow walk to no walk at times with a small group. This guided meditation, known as Forest Bathing, connects with your many different senses and will help you feel nature as more of a relationship rather than just seeing it as a backdrop. The walk will include sharing opportunities ending with a tea ceremony offering to all of nature. (suitable for ages 14 & older)
